Massaman curry is called 'Gaeng Massaman' in Thai or ‘the curry of the Muslim’. The Thai word massaman is derived from Persian and Arabic word musliman or ‘Muslim’, which came to Thailand via Muslim traders in the 17th century through the Persian-Siamese trade. Most people in Thailand make Massaman curry with chicken or beef but meat isn't required to enjoy Chef Na's curry. Just use potatoes and tofu is super delicious and easy!
How to use:
Use this flavourful curry paste to create a cruelty-free vegan curry by adding potatoes, tofu, tempeh or textured soy protein and lots of root vegetables.
